Summer Art Camp

Summer Art Camp for Aspiring Artists Ages 7 & up!

Summer Art Camp is coming to Creek Walk. Are you an aspiring artist? Do you have artistic talent & want to learn more about making art? If so, this camp is for you! Get your sketchbook & join me for this exploratory experience. We will be taking walks around Creek Walk to learn how to observe & draw nature. There will be still life drawing in the classroom. We will also discover the world of paint while using a variety of applications & techniques. Each participant can do there own decided upon project that will be completed by the end of our camp with the techniques we learned. We will be collaborating on large scale butterfly barn quilts & doing several smaller scale projects in addition. We will be discussing shapes, colors & will have critiques on the work that is being created each day. If you would love a hands on, how to be an artist experience & have a passion for visual art, then this camp is for you. Each student should arrive ready to make a lot of art!

Ages 7 & up

There will be a light snack provided (popcorn & pretzels) but you are welcome to send your preferred snack if you like. We will have a daily tea time. All materials are included in the price of camp, but I would like every aspiring artist to have their own sketchbook, pencil & eraser. The cost of this camp is $130 a week. Please wear your most painty clothes. This camp is going to focus on drawing & painting. Please plan to be inside & outside.
